Introducing Yann Kerevel

As some of you may have noticed yesterday, there was a new name in the authors list. We’re proud and thrilled to welcome Yann Kerevel aboard here at Americas South and North. Yann is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political from the University of New Mexico. He has been living in Mexico City for the last two years, conducting research for his dissertation on legislative behavior in the Mexican Chamber of Deputies. His research interests include the comparative study of electoral systems, election administration, legislative behavior, political parties, and elections. We look forward to adding his expertise on Mexico, as well as his political science background, which will no doubt provide some unique insights and analyses into Latin America in the past, present, and going forward.

Join me in welcoming Yann, and if you haven’t yet, check out his first post on Mexico’s first presidential debate this past Sunday night.
