Good News For Us?

Apparently, the death of Academic blogging has been greatly exaggerated. (h/t to Greg)

More seriously, we knew when we started this blog last August that it was unlikely to gain a massive readership, and that was not our intent; rather, as I originally stated, it was with the hope Americas South and North would become a useful place for “exchanging ideas, visions, and understandings of the Americas, both North and South.” While still relatively small in the grand scheme of things, the number of you who have come by and read posts or commented here has far exceeded our expectations for the first nine months of our humble little blog. We really do appreciate it and hope that, with you, we can continue to discuss and expand upon our understanding of and approaches to the  Americas, both South and North
