Kirchner & Obama to Meet in Colombia (or, “Well, That Didn’t Take Long…”)

In discussing the value of the Summit of the Americas earlier today, one of the biggest perks I (and Boz) pointed to was the bilateral meetings of leaders in between the larger collaboration and statement-creation that took place between the 33 countries in attendance. Just a little bit ago, it was announced that Cristina Kirchner and Barack Obama will hold a bilateral meeting tomorrow afternoon at the Summit, perhaps to iron out  disagreements between the two countries regarding trade and protectionism that have been a recent source of friction between the two countries. .
